OUR STORY
The Nickel Christmas Market is named after the Paul Jungnickel Home, a division of Kungwini Welfare Organisation.
The market is the biggest fundraising project and annual job creation event for the organisation. This year we celebrate our 20th year. With over 150 exhibitions from homemade to exclusive home décor products. We have something for everyone. This year the market runs from 24 November - 05 December 2021. Open daily from 09h00 to 18h00. Only 12 days to do your Christmas shopping and support the market that makes a difference in the lives of people with disability. The market is held on the premises of Kungwini Welfare Organisation
Kungwini Welfare Organisation is situated in the east of Pretoria, on a stunning piece of land that Dr Jungnickel donated to the Cripple Care Association in 1983. In 1983 our journey started with the Paul Jungnickel Home for 40 disabled adults. Today the home provides a residential care facility for 160 disabled adults.
The market is also a huge platform for KWO’s Protective Workshop to showcase the beautiful products that was made by our residents.
This market is not to be missed! Come see for yourself:
